For the fifth consecutive year, Archer earns finalist ranking based on strong relationships with Fortune 1000 clients, continued market leadership and technology innovation.
Archer Technologies recently announced that it has been named a finalist for two awards in the 2009 SC Awards program for outstanding achievement in information technology (IT) security.
“Our 2009 finalists, including Archer Technologies, address not only the challenges prominent today, but also the emerging threat landscape of tomorrow,” said SC Magazine Editor-in-Chief Illena Armstrong.
Excellence Award: Best Regulatory Compliance Solution
The Archer SmartSuite Framework was named a finalist in the Excellence Award Best Regulatory Compliance Solution category for the third consecutive year. Archer was the winner in this category in 2008. The award recognizes companies with superior security products that help customers tackle today’s pressing security challenges. IT security companies nominate their solutions for consideration in the SC Awards program, and entries are judged by a panel of 18 leading chief security officers from major corporations and large public sector organizations.
Reader Trust Award: Best Policy Management Solution
In addition, Archer Policy Management was named in the Best Policy Management Solution category of the Reader Trust Award competition, which honors best-in-class security products and services. The Archer Policy Management solution was the winner for this category in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Archer Policy Management was selected from more than 600 entries submitted in more than 30 technology categories. Winners will be chosen by the Reader Trust Voting Panel that comprises a cross-section of SC Magazine readership, which includes large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets.
